Salma is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics, a co-Investigator of the Greater Bay Area Cancer Registry, and co-Director of the Biostatistics and Population Research Shared Resource at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research focuses on the structural and social drivers of health inequities. In the Pathways Study, Salma has contributed to expanding the neighborhood infrastructure and studying the multilevel social drivers of cancer survivorship.
