Scarlett Gomez

Scarlett is Professor and Vice Chair for Faculty Development in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, UCSF, and Co-Leader of the Cancer Control Program of the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her research focuses on the role of structural and social drivers, and multi-level determinants of cancer health inequities. Over the past 10 years, she has led the development of data resources for characterizing neighborhood social and built environments in the Pathways Study.
